I am excited to kick off a brand-new podcast series, Microsoft@50, spotlighting the early executives who helped shape Microsoft into the tech titan it is today.
In first episode, we sit down with Paul Maritz — the former Executive Vice President responsible for Windows 95, Windows NT, Internet Explorer, and more. Often regarded as Microsoft’s third-ranking leader after Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer, Paul shares untold stories from the battle with OS/2 to the the golden years of Microsoft’s desktop and server software revolution.
In this 2nd installment of the Microsoft@50 series, we interview Jeff Raikes, who was President of the Business Systems Division at Microsoft. Jeff was the one of the senior most executives at Microsoft after Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer. Jeff served as a member of the company’s senior leadership team that set the overall strategy and direction for the firm. He began his career with Microsoft in 1981 and was instrumental in creating the Microsoft Office suite of productivity applications.
In this third installment of the Microsoft@50 series, we sit down with Robbie Bach, the Chief Xbox Officer and founder of Xbox at Microsoft.
